How much does walk-in cooler or freezer repair cost?

$120 flat diagnostic + labor (from $180, depending on the fault) + parts — the same diagnostic fee as our residential service, no commercial surcharge. You get the full quote on site before any work starts, and the diagnostic is waived if you proceed with the repair.

My walk-in is warming up — what do I do right now?

Keep the door closed, move anything critical to a working unit or ice, and call us. If the evaporator is a block of ice, switch the unit off so it can thaw before we arrive — most warm-box calls are a failed defrost, a dead evaporator fan, or a compressor that won't start, and all three are usually a same-visit repair.

Do you work on reach-ins, prep tables, and display cases too?

Yes. Reach-in coolers and freezers, sandwich and pizza prep tables, under-counter units, display cases, and back-bar coolers — the same technicians, the same $120 diagnostic.

Are you licensed for commercial refrigeration work in Oregon?

Yes. Redline holds Oregon CCB license #257205 and Oregon BCD HVAC/R specialty license LHR761, and our technicians are EPA 608 certified, which federal law requires for handling refrigerant.
